March 28, 2020: Following the directive of the provincial government and Alberta Health Services on March 17, 2020 concerning the current provincial state of emergency resulting from the pandemic COVID-19, all casino operations in the province have been closed indefinitely. In addition, on March 27, the province announced all dine-in services are prohibited.
As a precautionary measure inline with prevention efforts taking place across Canada and around the world, Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino unfortunately needs to announce the temporary closure of the resort to the public effective Sunday, March 29, 2020. Stoney Tribal Administration Emergency Management Team will continue to operate at the resort, but no public access is permitted.
